A new series of Airplane Packs will be added to the WW2 Wings of Glory line soon, introducing the Messerschmitt Bf.109 K-4, Republic P-47D Thunderbolt "Razorback", Yokosuka D4Y Suisei, and Douglas SBD Dauntless. The new series uses a new content format. In addition to the "usual" contents (airplane model, flight stand with game stats, altitude stands, and a deck of maneuver cards), the Airplane Packs will contain specific cards with optional rules and game information appropriate for each model - such as the presence of drop tanks, optional armament, or pilot special abilities.

The differences between these airplanes will also be evident in the packaging itself - the new packaging will present a picture of the airplane on the back, (in addition to the trasparent window showing the miniature inside), and historical information about the airplane featured in the pack.
