The launching event of Last Friday in 42 game stores across the US, on Friday, November 18th, was very successful, according retailers who held the demo sessions in their shops. The public had the chance to see and try the survival horror game, and many people got their copy at the event, or pre-ordered it.

Rhett Hutchinson, from Beyond the Board, a game store located in Dublin, Ohio, said the event was a great experience for eveyrone. "We got to run a full game with 6 players and they had a great time! They really enjoyed that it combined elements from several other hidden movement games all into one and they loved the way the chapters alternated back and forth as to who was hunting who." According to Bryon Dills, from Grog's Games (Topeka, Kansas), the event went "VERY" well. "I ran two full games. I had people wanting me to run another, but it was 1:45 am, so I said "not tonight", and chased everybody home!," he said.

At the Wand, Wick, and Flame, in Kingston, New York, Brian Longendyke ran three sessions of the game on Friday the 18th, with four people per session playing as camp counselors, while he played as the killer - and found the game very challenging from that end. "In short it was fun, I almost had max players for 3 sessions, I put on the Friday the 13th soundtrack and a hockey mask (really helped hide the fact that no one was at risk), and people had a great time."

"Everyone had a good time and the staff were able to learn the game pretty quickly so that they could in turn teach the new players," commented Keya A. Matanagh, from Star Clipper Comics, Games, and Collectibles, in Saint Louis, Missouri. Rembert Parker, from Reader Copies, in Anderson, Indiana, was also satisfied - "It was fun having a demo on Friday for a change - one of our volunteers hosted the game for three hours and up to 20 people came over and at least looked at or played a few moves of the game," he said.

Ernest Bourne, from Fongo Bongo Games, in Riverton, Utah, told they did the demo event as part of International Games Day at the Salt Lake County Library."We had great success as this was a small gaming event that had about 350 people attending."
