Ares Games is proud to announce that it will be a consulting partner of the Crowdfunding project “Restoration of Pazzi Chapel Loggia”, launched today by Opera di Santa Croce. The project is run as a Kickstarter campaign – ending on December, 19th 2014 – with a goal of raising $ 95,000 to finance the restoration of the loggia of the Pazzi Chapel in the Santa Croce church complex, a historical landmark in Florence.

Established in 2011 in Tuscany to create quality board game products for an international audience, and faced with the challenge of developing a small start-up with a global outlook, in a time of financial crisis, Ares Games management has experimented Crowdfunding since early 2013.

As the creator of the first, second and fourth most-funded Italian projects on Kickstarter, Ares is – at present – the foremost Italian company in the use of Crowdfunding.

With a passion for literature and history – also evident in our products – Ares envisioned the potential of combining the global power of Crowdfunding strategies with the necessities of the artistic and historical patrimony of our territory, and offered the support of our Crowdfunding experience to the campaign of Opera di Santa Croce.

In the course of the last 18 months, Ares launched four projects on Kickstarter – the most important Crowdfunding platform in the World - raising a total of $ 817,260, with the support of more than 5,000 people from 40 different countries.

In 2014, Ares Games opened an US subsidiary – Ares Games LLC, based in the St.Louis (MO) area – to develop further its international business. Ares also created a business unit to provide consulting services on Crowdfunding strategies to other Italian project creators.
