Starbuck's Viper MK.II

Good news for players wanting to add more spaceships to their Battlestar Galactica - Starship Battles games: the first expansions for the new combat miniature game based on the Battlestar Galactica™ TV series are now shipping to distributors and will start to hit US stores on April, 5th. They will be available in other countries in the following weeks. The new releases include five Spaceship Packs (two versions of the Viper MK.II and three of the Cylon Raider) and one accessory - a set of additional control panels.

The game was launched in December 2018, when the Battlestar Galactica — Starship Battles Starter Set was released, featuring four ready–to–play miniatures - two Colonial Vipers Mk. II (including Apollo’s Viper and his pilot card) and two Cylon Raiders, from the Re-imagined series - and everything else needed to start to play.

The first expansions releasing now are five Spaceship Packs, each of them presenting a ready-to-play model - painted and assembled, spaceship card, gaming base, maneuver deck and a set of pilot cards.

The primary space superiority fighter/attack craft of the Colonial Fleet, the Viper MK. II comes in a "generic" version and the one commanded by Kara “Starbuck” Thrace, the fleet’s most talented, passionate and rebellious Viper pilot, including her pilot card and skill cards.

Scar's Cylon Raider

The Raider, primary Cylon assault craft, arrives in three versions: a generic one, one captured and flew back to the Galactica by Kara “Starbuck” Thrace, and Scar, possibly the most vicious and experienced Raider encountered.

The first accessory for the game, a set of Additional Control Panels, brings an essential element of the game system, as each of them allows to keep track and manage the speed, kinetic energy, rotation and altitude of one of the spaceships in play.
