The expansion reimagines the nine mini-Overlords featured in the original campaign. Each boss now receives a dedicated miniature, a unique Overlord dashboard, and special encounter elements that make every battle more distinct. With new abilities, actions, and behaviors, these enemies provide more varied and dynamic encounters than their original versions.

Nemesis Mode shifts the focus from stealth and infiltration to combat, survival, and character development. Players face a succession of boss battles, collecting resources that can be spent to improve their Operatives and Headquarters between encounters.
