Mega Empires: The Far East: two new epic civilization games.
The Kickstarter project of Mega Empires: The Far East, for two new epic games in the Mega Empires series, ended on May 14th, with 842 backers, $223,540 pledged - 894% funded, and with all stretch goals unlocked.
Mega Empires: The Far East - North and South are two new standalone board games exploring peoples, dynasties, and historical developments from the easternmost regions of Asia, from Japan to Indonesia. They are expected to ship to Kickstarter backers by January 2027.
Mega Empires: The Far East games are designed with smaller player groups in mind, 3 to 5 players, and can be combined into a larger experience for up to 10 players games. Mega Empires: The Far East - North is set in East Asia and includes renowned Chinese dynasties, the Heian period, and more. Mega Empires: The Far East - South is set in continental and maritime Southeast Asia, including among others the renowned Khmer and Srivijaya empires. The crowdfunding project also included The Silk Road, a versatile expansion enhancing The Far East, as well as the previous Mega Empires games, The East and The West, allowing to connect and combine different games and multiple scenarios to play Mega Empires with any number of players, from 3 to 30.
