The crowdfunding campaign for Teburu Dungeon: Sword & Sorcery is live on Gamefound. Launched on July 22nd, the project funded in only 15 minutes, and with 24 days left it counts over $500K pledged and almost 1500 backers. Teburu Dungeon: Sword & Sorcery is the collaboration between Sword & Sorcery and Teburu, a gaming system that seamlessly integrates the digital world with the physical, keeping players focused on the board and its components while the system takes care of the game rules, enemy behaviour, and storytelling events. Players attending Gen Con Indy this week will have the chance of trying Teburu Dungeon: Sword & Sorcery at the Xplored booth (#1852).
Teburu Dungeon: Sword and Sorcery is a new adventure for the beloved board game franchise, but longtime players will find familiar links to the Immortal Souls campaign. Backers that already own Sword and Sorcery will be able to re-use their models thanks to a conversion kit that adds the new game content needed to enjoy the game on the Teburu System.
The project offers three different pledges for previous owners of S&S sets - Core Conversion (€70 - requires Immortal Souls), Adventure Conversion (€170 - also requires ownership of Darkness Falls and Arcane Portal), and Heroic Conversion (€310 - for previous all-In backers of Sword & Sorcery). These pledges do not include the Teburu hardware, which is required to play and is available as an add-on for €100.
