Also during this summer the gaming club Associazione Ludica Apuana organizes a “Dogfight Day” with WWI Wings of Glory miniatures under the Apuan skies (northern Tuscany). On July 1st, from 10:00 to 18:00, the Wings of Glory players can meet other people interested in the game and, at same time, give a small contribution to the people affected by the recent earthquakes in the Emilia Romagna region.

There will be an initial clash between two fighter squadrons for the supremacy of the skies above the borderlands in order to allow their bombers, in successive waves, to hit strategic targets. The recently released bombers Caproni Ca.3 and Gotha G.V will be used in this session. The players will also have the chance to try a preview of the new rules updated by the author Andrea Angiolino.

The group Associazione Ludica Apuana joined the project “Insieme per l’Emilia” (Together for the Emilia), an initiative of the Italian BoardGameLeague, and 50% of the players registration fee (10 euro) will be donated to people from the region struck by the earthquakes during last May.

The event will be hold at the Sporting Club “Le Pinete” (via S.Ginese 16 - Poveromo di Massa). For more information and pre-registration, contact Sergio Massa - massa.sergio[at]fastwebnet.it.
