The Italian gaming clubs Associazione Ludica Apuana (A.L.A.) and WASP - Wargame Spezia, in collaboration with Ares Games, will run next Sunday, September 13th, "The Guadalcanal Campaign" WW2 Wings of Glory event, in Massa (Northern Tuscany, Italy).
The event will recreate the first major offensive by Allied forces against the Japanese, fought between 7 August 1942 and 9 February 1943 on and around the island of Guadalcanal in the Pacific theater of World War II. The event will develop in five rounds, each one focusing one month of the campaign, with two scenarios choosen among the most significant in that month.
Miniatures of the aircrafts employed in the historical battles will be used, and the models not yet available in Wings of Glory will be self-constructed by the A.L.A.'s members.
The "Guadalcanal Campaign" event will be held at the Sporting Club “Le Pinete”, from 9,00 am to 6 pm. Each participant will receive a miniature (an entry fee of €10 will be charged).
